Day 1 - Arrive Melbourne
On arrival into Melbourne you will be met by an Abercrombie & Kent guide and transferred by private vehicle to your accommodation. Your room has been pre-registered for immediate occupancy.

Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria, is known as the garden, arts and sports capital of Australia. Its beautiful tree-lined boulevards, many parks and gardens and beautiful Victorian terrace houses, great restaurants, wonderful theatre and art galleries together with international sporting events all combine to make this elegant city one of the world's most liveable.

After time to freshen up meet your guide for an afternoon sightseeing tour of elegant Melbourne. Stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens laid out over 150 years ago and reputed to be the finest in the Southern Hemisphere. Travel past Victorian terrace houses, the city's most exclusive suburbs, the Arts Precinct and the Eureka Skydeck 88 floors up for awe inspiring 360 degree views. Your hotel is located on the Yarra River at Southbank, in the heart of the city's Arts and Leisure precinct.

Day 2 - Melbourne
After breakfast join your A&K representative and transfer to Royal Melbourne Golf Club, acknowledged as the most prestigious and the oldest golf club in Australia with two 18-hole courses. In November 1998 it was host to the first President's Cup Tournament to be played outside the United States and has recently hosted the 2011 President's Cup. Enjoy a round of 18 holes with green fees, deluxe club hire, shoe hire (if required), pro Shop check in, tee off service and bag porterage included (B).

Day 3 - Melbourne - Cairns
Transfer to Melbourne airport for flight* to Cairns. On arrival you are met by your A&K driver and transferred to your accommodation at The Marina Cairns (B).

Day 4 - Cairns
This morning after breakfast you will be met by your A&K representative and transferred to the Cairns Marina to embark on your full day private excursion on Galaxy 1 to the outer Great Barrier Reef. Galaxy 1 is superbly appointed to take in the wonderful natural attributes of the Tropical North. Enjoy access to a full range of water sports equipment including snorkelling equipment, dive tender and wave runner ensuring your reef trip is a highlight of the holiday. Part of the experience is a gourmet lunch of local natural produce prepared by the on board chef including selected beverages (B,L).

Day 5 - Cairns - Port Douglas - Cairns
After breakfast you will be met by your A&K representative and transferred up the coastal Captain Cook Highway to the quaint town of Port Douglas where you enjoy a round of golf at the Sea Temple Resort & Spa Golf course. This is true links style in beautiful tropical scenery. Included today are your green fees, a motorised golf cart, deluxe club hire, shoe hire (if required), pro shop check in, tee off service and bag porterage.

At the end of your round you will be transferred back to the hotel in Cairns (B).

Day 6 - Cairns - Sydney
This morning you will be met and transferred by your A&K driver to Cairns Domestic Airport for the flight* south to Sydney. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel in the historic Rocks district in the heart of the city with stunning views.

Sydney, the capital of the state of New South Wales, is Australia's most well-known city. With its extraordinary icons both natural and man-made this is a city that never fails to delight. Its magnificent natural harbour spanned by the 'coat hanger', the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the man-made sails of the Sydney Opera House are just some of its most widely photographed aspects.

This evening enjoy dinner at one of Sydney's finest restaurants - Aria. Enjoy a three course set menu and bottle of wine with the backdrop of Sydney's most iconic landmarks (B,D).

Day 7 - Sydney
Meet your Abercrombie and Kent guide and chauffeur in the lobby. Today's private tour of Sydney begins with a visit to Taronga Zoo, located on Sydney's best real estate on the North Shore at Mosman. Enjoy an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the zoo's unique Australian animal collection. It is an informative introduction to the country's unusual wildlife and includes excellent photographic opportunities of kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, birds, wombats and echidnas.

Travel on to the charming suburb of Paddington and see tiny Victorian houses decorated with cast iron "lacework", much of which came to Australia as ballast in the holds of the wool and grain clippers over 100 years ago.

Following lunch at a local restaurant continue onto Bondi Beach and the notorious Kings Cross. Visit the Sydney Opera House for a private guided tour and continue to the historic Rocks area with its narrow cobbled streets and convict buildings. Tour to end at your accommodation (B,L).

Day 8 - Sydney
After breakfast meet your A&K representative and transfer to one of Sydney's famous championship golf courses - The Lakes. This course has recently hosted the PGA Australia Open and attracts some of the world's best golfers including Tiger Woods. After your round return to the hotel. Included today are your green fees, a motorised golf cart, deluxe club hire, shoe hire (if required), pro shop check in, tee off service and bag porterage (B).

Day 9 - Depart Sydney
This morning meet your A&K chauffeur in the hotel lobby and transfer by private vehicle to Sydney airport for your onward flight* (B).
