Kangaluna Camp
Luxury safari tents are set in the stunning wilderness region of the Gawler Ranges in South Australia on private land near the boundary of the Gawler Ranges National Park. The Camp's three large ensuite safari tents have been designed in harmony with the local environment and with comfort in mind, using natural airflows for cooling and ventilation, and curved solid roofs to capture rainwater.

The tents are suspended under the roof and sit on a raised wooden platform complete with a small deck. Attached to the rear of each tent is a private bathroom with full facilities and a private view. The tents have 12-volt solar lighting, and rely on rainfall capture for their water supply. Battery charging is available in the dining area. The three two-bedroom tents measure 7 by 5 metres and are spaced 70 metres apart for privacy.

Camp furnishings have been built using the local mallee wood, the designs featuring native animals and birds. Recycled materials have also been used in the furnishings and construction throughout the camp. The central dining room is mostly open-sided, allowing guests to enjoy the close passage of animals and birds through the camp. All meals are prepared on site: you can enjoy dinner and a glass of wine with the sounds of the bush all around, and the guide's stories to entertain you. The camp is a special place to relax and observe nature in harmony with your presence.

Pricing
As a guide, this 5 day suggested journey in South Australia will cost from $2,465 per person based on two adults sharing and is subject to availability.
