Elephant Experience
In the Okavango Delta experience a rare, unforgettable and truly exclusive experience awaits. Join handler Doug and the herd for a morning with semi habituated elephants, Jabu, Thembi and Morula. On their daily foraging trek, develop a new appreciation of these gentle giants. A delicate blink of Morula’s long lashes reveals her sensitive yet strong personality. Jabu takes you, trunk in hand, with his generous nature to uncover the age-old secrets of the African elephant. And Thembi, cute and boisterous is impossible to ignore. By participating in this activity you are supporting the Living With Elephants Foundation, a Botswana registered non-profit organisation (optional activity).

during the school term, visit the AKP supported Plateau Primary School in Kasane. A chance to interact with the local community, particularly the school children, it is a highlight of any visit to Botswana. A donation to the school has been made on your behalf as part of your stay at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero.
