Day 1 Arrive Victoria Falls

Your will be met at Livingstone Airport and transferred to your accommodation at Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma Lodge located on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls (D).

Day 2 Design Your Day Victoria Falls

The day is yours to discover the beauty of the Zambezi. Choose two of the following activities; A guided tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls; visit the Nakatindi village; a game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park; or take an early morning or sunset boat trip on the river. A cultural tour of Livingstone with a visit to the museum is also an option (additional cost) (B,L,D).

Day 3 Depart Victoria Falls

This morning transfer to the airport for your onward flight (B).

This is an extension and must be booked in conjunction with another Africa itinerary.

NAKATINDI VILLAGE

Guests at Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma have the opportunity to visit Nakatindi Village. We are delighted to announce that together with support from some of our top suppliers AKP has pledged to carry out the work required for the installation of a borehole in Zone 3 of the village, a hammer mill shelter as well as the completion of the village's vegetable garden. Labour for the vegetable garden will be provided by Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma and community volunteers. Once the garden is operational, Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma will purchase vegetables at the going market price and surplus produce will be used by the school to supplement the children's feeding programme.
A&K Pearls of Wisdom

Visit Victoria Falls during a full moon and see the lunar rainbow, or moonbow. At night the lunar rainbow is created by the light of a full moon and water particles from the mist of a waterfall. To look on the delicate lunar rainbow is a natural wonder without equal. The best time to see the lunar rainbow is when the moon is full, the sky is relatively clear and the Victoria Falls are at their peak flow (January – May).
