Welcome to the capital of Namibia. Meet & greet and private transfer to your hotel.
Olive Grove Guest House

Day 02 Windhoek – NamibRand Nature Reserve

An exciting day as your journey begins with a light aircraft flight south into the spectacular Namib Desert. One of the oldest in the world, it is the smaller creatures and the dramatic desert scenery that make this area so unique. (B,L,D).
Sossusvlei Desert Lodge

Day 03 Design Your Day NamibRand Nature Reserve

As one of Africa’s largest and most beautiful private reserves, there is much to see here. Tailor your day to suit. Choose two of the following activities: a scenic game drive by open 4WD vehicle observing the unique flora and fauna of the desert; explore the dunes by quad bike; take a guided nature walk; or visit a private observatory for star gazing (B,L,D).
Sossusvlei Desert Lodge

Day 04 NamibRand Nature Reserve – Damaraland

This morning join your private charter flight to Swakopmund where you will stop for a gormet seafood lunch. Rejoin your aircraft for a scenic flight over the spectacular Skeleton Coast and on to the northern reaches of Damaraland. (B,L,D).
Mowani Mountain Camp

Day 05 Design Your Day Damaraland

The day is yours to explore this rugged landscape. Choose two of the following activities; a guided nature drive; visit the archaeological site of Twyfelfontien to see rare Bushman rock art and engravings; take a guided nature walk; or relax by the pool taking in the spectacular desert views (B,L,D).
Mowani Mountain Camp

Day 06 Damaraland – Etosha National Park

Today’s fight takes you to Etosha National Park, Namibia’s premier wildlife reserve, with its gleaming white salt pan. This afternoon enjoy a game drive. The arid scenery makes it easy to spot game in the distance. Don’t forget your binoculars (B,L,D).
Onguma Tented Camp

Day 07 Etosha National Park

Venture into the park with your safari guide to see the vast shimmering salt pans or take a safari in the private Onguma reserve. Exciting either way, search for giraffe, cheetah, kudu, lion and the tiny dik dik. Watch elephants come to drink at the waterhole (seasonal) or maybe spot a black rhino. During the summer months it’s a bird watchers paradise with thousands of bird species migrating to the wetlands created by the seasonal rains (B,L,D).
Onguma Tented Camp

Day 08 Etosha National Park – Windhoek

Return by light aircraft back to Windhoek, where you say farewell to Namibia (B).

Okahirongo Elephant Lodge

Following your Desert Discovery experience, you may choose an extension to Okahirongo Elephant Lodge. One of Namibia’s more remote destinations, located in the Purros Conservancy of Kaokoland. Often described as one of the last truly wild areas in the north-west of Namibia, the lodge is surrounded by beautiful mountainous landscapes. Seven luxurious chalets overlook the Hoarusib River, each decorated in a rich, colour fusion of ochre and honey and styled with locally carved furnishings. Activities include twice-daily game and scenic drives, tracking desert adapted elephants, lion tracking with the Desert Lion Project, hiking, morning desert walks, bird watching and cultural visits including an opportunity to see the Himba Tribe.
