Day 01 Lusaka – Lower Zambezi
An A&K welcome to one of the newest safari destinations, Zambia. A light aircraft flight takes you to the floodplains and lagoons of the Zambezi River in the Lower Zambezi National Park. Your adventure begins with an afternoon game drive (D).

Days 02 – 03 Design Your Days Lower Zambezi
Two days in the Lower Zambezi to explore and discover. Choose two of the following activities each day: an early morning canoe safari is one of the most serene (and exciting!) ways to explore the Zambezi River. Paddling leisurely with the current provides ample opportunity to view the prolific bird life such as the agile jacana with its giant web feet. Float past hippo pods as they snort to remind you of their presence and you may even see elephants coming down to drink; a half day game drive bringing close encounters with elephant, buffalo, lion and possibly the endangered wild dog; a guided safari walk will highlight the smaller things of the bush; o9r an afternoon boat trip on the river for Tiger fishing - an absolute must (B,L,D).

Day 04 Lower Zambezi – Victoria Falls
A flight across the country to the confluence of Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe where the mighty Zambezi River plunges over the escarpment as the awesome Victoria Falls. Stay in a luxury treehouse on the banks of the Zambezi River (B,L,D).

Day 05 Design Your Day Victoria Falls
The day is yours to discover the beauty of the Zambezi. Choose two of the following activities: a guided tour of the Zambian side of Victoria Falls; a visit to Semonga village; a game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park; or take an early morning or sunset boat trip on the river. A cultural tour of Livingstone with a visit to the museum is also an option (additional cost) (B,L,D).

Day 06 Victoria Falls – Chobe National Park
Today a light aircraft flight takes you across the Falls into Botswana and the semi-arid Chobe National Park. Your accommodation is at the luxurious Chobe Chilwero, perched high on a hill with spectacular views of the river (B,L,D).

Day 07 Design Your Day Chobe National Park
As the second largest park in Botswana there is much territory to cover. Choose two of the following activities; a half day game drive by 4WD traversing the park’s diverse landscapes; visit the local AKP supported Plateau Primary School where you can meet members of the local community; take the highly recommended afternoon boat safari on the Chobe River and as the sun sets, watch the elephants come down to the river to drink and bathe; or luxuriate in a pampering spa treatment at Chobe Chilwero’s world class Spa (additional cost) (B,L,D).

Day 08 Chobe National Park – Kasane or Victoria Falls
A final farewell as your safari ends with a transfer to Kasane airport or Victoria Falls airport (B).
