Day 1 Arrive Casablanca
A VIP Meet & Greet and royal welcome to this imperial kingdom of North Africa, before a private transfer to your hotel. Over the next eleven days you will stay in luxury suites at the finest Moroccan riads, and tour the kingdom in style.

Day 2 Casablanca – Rabat – Fes
This morning you will enjoy an orientation tour of Casablanca, including a visit to the vast Hassan II Mosque. Travel to Rabat with time for lunch and a short city tour including the Hassan Tower and Mohamed V Mausoleum before continuing to the magical city of Fes (B).

Day 3 Fes
Fes is the most complete medieval city in the Arab world, consisting of two separate quarters: Fes El Bali (Old Fes) and Fes El Djedid (New Fes). Visit Fes El Djedid to see the old Jewish quarter, the Royal Palace and the 1000-year-old Medina. Other highlights are the Attarine Medersa (Koranic school) and the Kairouyine Mosque, which was the largest mosque in Morocco until the construction of the new Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Tonight, enjoy dinner at Riad Alkantara, where a guest speaker provides insight into Andalusian architecture and history (B,D).

Day 4 Meknes & Volubilis
Today explore Meknes, one of the Imperial Cities of Morocco, where the monuments reflect the splendour of this 17th-century city. Visit Bab Mansour gateway and the granaries and stables of the great Moulay Ismail. The city walls stretch for 25 km and are interspersed with monumental gates. Take time to stroll around the souks, and don't miss the highlight of the Medina, the delightful 19th-century palace Dar Jamai, now a museum of Moroccan art and handicrafts.
The city of Volubilis was originally inhabited by the Phoenicians, and was a key Roman outpost overlooking the valleys and mountains. The evocative ruins include a Roman olive factory, and the foundations of the luxurious House of Orpheus showing sophisticated plumbing and heating systems as well as finely-preserved mosaics. The Forum was the centre of life in Volubilis, with the arches of the Basilica and the columned Capitol still standing. Visit the stately landmark of the Triumphal Arch and stroll the main street, lined with the remains of houses and palaces (B).

Day 5 Fes – Merzouga
Today you will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains and continue south toward the desert. On arrival in Erfoud, your awaiting 4WD vehicle will transfer you to your exclusive Desert Camp for a night in the Sahara (B,D).

Day 6 Merzouga – Skoura
After breakfast and a stunning desert sunrise, return to the city of Erfoud, and continue through the Dades Valley on the Road of 1000 Kasbahs. You will stop at a small but rewarding museum showcasing Berber culture and reach Skoura late afternoon (B,D).

Day 7 Skoura
Today you have the choice of relaxing at the hotel or joining a tour of the Palmeraie of Skoura, where you can explore small villages at the foot of the Atlas Mountains on foot or horseback (B,L,D).

Day 8 Skoura – Marrakech
Travel to Marrakech today, stopping en route in Ouarzazate. Visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt and continue to the spectacular fortified village of Ait Benhaddou for lunch. This afternoon, cross the impressive Tizi’n Tichka Pass before arriving in Marrakech (B,L).

Day 9 Marrakech
A day spent touring Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs and the Bahia Palace. Explore the Medina and Djemaa El-Fna Square with its snake-charmers, story-tellers and acrobats; take some time for shopping in the souks. Souk Smarine is an important thoroughfare, traditionally dominated by the sale of textiles, clothing and Moroccan handicrafts (B).

Day 10 Marrakech
Head out of town today into the High Atlas Mountains where North Africa’s highest peak Jebel Toubkal (4,167m) rises. The scenery is breathtaking and there are many Berber villages in the region. The day is spent exploring the surrounds, with time for a trek into the foothills (B).

Day 11 Depart Marrakech
Today your journey ends with a transfer to Marrakech airport (B).
