A&K’s Sun Boat IV
Sun Boat IV operates three- and four-night cruises along Egypt’s famous Nile River, and is featured on A&K’s ‘Nile in Style’ and ‘Egyptian Sojourn’ itineraries. Launched in 1996 and extensively refurbished in 2006, Sun Boat IV offers a cruise experience unlike any other. With a capacity of only 80 guests, the craft is intimate and elegant. A private dock in Aswan reserved exclusively for A&K’s Sun Boats ensures the highest levels of security and privacy.
Individual trips on feluccas and uniquely-tailored sightseeing with a fully-qualified Egyptologist in small groups of 15 or less will also help you avoid the crowds. Service is exceptional, and gourmet meals are served by attentive and friendly waiting staff, and accompanied by an impressive wine list featuring both local and international wines. Accommodation
Sun Boat IV’s superb accommodation, consisting of 36 luxury cabins and four suites with a choice of twin or king beds, is an integral element of your Nile cruise experience. Two Royal Suites with balcony are located on the Promenade Deck, while the two Presidential Suites are situated on the Main Deck and the Luxury Cabins are scattered throughout the boat. Beautifully-appointed yet perfectly designed for maximum functionality, all cabins and suites are fully air-conditioned, with panoramic windows and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and plentiful bath linens. All cabins feature satellite television with in-house movies, CD player, direct-dial international phone, safe and mini-bar.
Facilities
An overall length of 66 metres ensures ample space for even the full complement of guests. The public areas feature attractive and elegant furnishings, as does the stylish restaurant. Guests can enjoy magnificent views from its picture windows, and in-room dining is also available. An intimate bar and lounge area provide the perfect settings to relax and reflect on the wonders the day has revealed.
