A&K Pearls of Wisdom

Pisco at Piskuo

After a day tackling the Inca ruins and colonial monuments around Cusco relax at new hot spot, Piskuo. Behind solid oak doors on the main plaza this hidden gem plays host to locals in the know. Crimson walls, dark timber floors and velvet curtains are the sumptuous look on the spacious lower level. Upstairs, there’s cool lime green in the narrower, more intimate bar which opens up to a glorious rooftop terrace. Spend a dreamy night here beside the open fireplace gazing over the terracotta rooftops and stone cathedrals of Cusco’s Plaza de Armas. Tempting the palate, local fare includes the tenderest alpaca brochettes, a tangy ceviche and quinoa chaufa all washed down with their delicious signature pisco based cocktail, the Marujito!
