Day 1 Arrive Buenos Aires

Arrive into the ‘Paris of the Americas’ to a private A&K welcome. Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt (Deluxe Room)

Day 2 Buenos Aires

This morning is a private sightseeing tour of the city. Drive through the leafy streets of Palermo’s grand residences. There is also time to wander through the famous 10 acre Recoleta cemetery where generations of Argentina’s elite are buried, including Eva Peron. This evening a treat is in store with dinner and a tango show at Esquina Carlos Gardel in VIP seating (B, D).

Day 3 Buenos Aires

Half day visit to the Port district of La Boca and the Bohemian delights of San Telmo where you visit the beautifully resroted 19th Century residence of El Zanjon (B).

Day 4 Buenos Aires - El Calafate

Transfer to the airport for the three hour flight*  to El Calafate in the far south of the country. This is the stepping off point for adventure in the remote Patagonian wilderness. Your base is the comfortable country lodge, Eolo, situated on a 3,000 hectare property in La Anita valley surrounded by endless vistas (B,D).

Days 5 – 6 El Calafate

The days are yours to explore the remarkable landscape of Los Glaciares National Park. Included is a full day trip to the Perito Moreno glacier with picnic lunch. Otherwise the expert guides are on call to coordinate hiking, horse riding, birdwatching, star-gazing or mountain biking (B,L, D).

Day 7 El Calafate - Bariloche  

Transfer to the airport for the flight* north from El Calafate to Bariloche in the foothills of the Andes.  Transfer to your lakeside resort (B).

Day 8 Bariloche   

Fondly referred to as Argentina's 'Little Switzerland'. There’s a chairlift ride up Cerro Campanario for excellent views of the surrounding mountains, lakes and forests and the rest of your stay is at leisure to enjoy the area or the excellent hotel facilities including a full service spa, golf, trekking, mountain biking or dance classes (B).

Day 9 Bariloche - Mendoza  

Transfer from the hotel to Bariloche airport for your flights* via Buenos Aires to Mendoza, centre of Argentina’s wine industry. Transfer from Mendoza airport to your boutique hotel (B).

Day 10 Mendoza

A day on the wine trail with your guide visiting Catena Zapata and Vistalba wineries with lunch (B, L)

Day 12 Mendoza - Buenos Aires

Transfer from hotel to Mendoza airport for your flight* to Buenos Aires. Transfer from the airport to your boutique hotel in the fashionable Palermo district.  Remainder of the day at leisure (B).

Day 13 Depart Buenos Aires

Transfer Buenos Aires hotel to the International airport to meet your international flight (B).
