DAY 1 Adelaide - Barossa Valley
Meet your A&K guide and drive north to the picturesque Barossa Valley. Try your hand at wine making and enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant (L).

DAY 2 Barossa Valley - Flinders Ranges
This morning, depart for the rich and rugged landscape of the Flinders Ranges. Lunch at a winery before arriving at Arkaba Station, your boutique outback accommodation in a homestead dating to 1851. The remainder of the day is free to enjoy the stunning surroundings (B,L,D).

DAY 3 Flinders Ranges
Join fellow guests of Arkaba to explore the Flinders Ranges, including Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges to the western side of the ranges. This region was once an ancient seabed and it boasts some very significant early fossils, some dating back more than 600 million years. Return to the comfortable homestead for a second night of elegant dining with your hosts (B,L,D).

DAY 4 Flinders Ranges - Kangraoo Island
After breakfast, transfer to Hawker Airstrip for your private charter flight to Kangaroo Island. Landing at Vivonne Bay, you will be met and transferred to nearby Southern Ocean Lodge. The stunning Lodge is located at Hanson Bay and commands spectacular ocean, beach and wilderness views. The 21-suite lodge offers the ultimate fusion of nature, luxury and exquisite dining. After dinner, take a Koala Night Walk or a Southern Star Gaze tour (B,L,D).

DAY 5 Kangaroo Island
Discover the magnificent coastal scenery and abundant wildlife for which the island is renowned. Activity options designed exclusively for Lodge guests include walking among the sea lions at Seal Bay Conservation Park or viewing koalas, wallabies and kangaroos in their natural habitat (B,L,D).Southern Ocean Lodge, Flinders Suite
DAY 6 Depart Kangaroo Island
Explore Kangaroo Island further today. Try a spot of beach fishing or relax with a spa treatment (additional cost) before your scheduled return flight from Kingscote to Adelaide * (B).

Arkaba Station
The 1850’s Arkaba Station Homestead offers a select few guests a taste of classic Australian country hospitality while sensitive and luxurious touches ensure comfort, style and a truly memorable experience. In addition to the five rooms a comfortable library with deep leather armchairs and a large stone fireplace and a wet edge pool provide opportunities for deep relaxation.
The homestead looks out onto the geologically and culturally significant Elder Range, which glows pink with the first rays of sun every morning, and the Arkaba Creek lined with River Red Gums alive with the chatter of hundreds of Galahs.
Scheduled touring and activities with fellow guests, an open bar and friendly, informally hosted meals are included in the Arkaba experience.
