Day 01 Osaka – Hiroshima
This afternoon take the bullet train from Osaka to Hiroshima and transfer hotel.

Day 02 Hiroshima
This morning depart for an excursion by ferry and car to the peaceful island of Miyajima, renowned for the great red ‘Floating Torii Gate’ set in the middle of Itsukushima Bay. See also the World Heritage Itsukushima Shrine and Treasure House (B).

Day 03 Hiroshima – Osaka
Suffering a tragic past, a visit to Hiroshima is a reminder of the catastrophic moment in 1945 when it was hit by the world’s first atomic bomb. Today the city prospers and its Memorial Park and Children’s Peace Memorial are inspirational tributes which you will visit during your stay. See also the World Heritage Atomic Bomb Dome, Atomic Museum and Hiroshima Castle. Return by bullet train to Osaka and your hotel where arrangements end (B).
