Day 01 Phnom Penh
A private A&K welcome awaits your arrival and the afternoon is spent touring the Cambodian capital with visits to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda and the National Museum which houses the world’s foremost collection of ancient Khmer artefacts.

Day 02 Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
More to see this morning with a stop at the Russian Market, Wat Phnom and Tuol Sleng genocide museum for a confronting but meaningful insight into the horrors of the Pol Pot era. A&K also takes you to visit the Sunrise Children’s village before a short flight north to Siem Reap (B,L).

Days 03 – 04 Design Your Days Siem Reap
Two whole days to discover the many temples and sites making up the World Heritage listed Angkor complex. Choose two of the following full day activities: explore the most important monuments of the ancient Angkor kingdom including the fortified royal city of Angkor Thom, the Bayon, the Elephant and Leper King Terraces, the jungle temple of Ta Prohm and a boat trip on Tonle Sap lake with a visit to Sam’s Wells; further afield visit the beautiful temple of Banteay Srei, a jewel in pink sandstone, the heavier styled Banteay Samre and the temple of ‘the sacred sword’ Preah Kahn, also included is a visit to the Central Market to stock up on mementos of your visit; head out to the Rolous Group of temples which date from the late 9th century. This is the earliest site of the 600 year Angkor period that is open to visitors and takes a whole day culminating in sunset at Angkor Wat; or a day trip to the 12th century Beng Melea, Cambodia’s second largest temple only recently opened to visitors. It is built in the style of Angkor Wat and still largely cloaked in vegetation appears much as it would have done when early French explorers stumbled upon it (B,L).

Day 05 Depart Siem Reap
Your stay in Cambodia finishes at the airport (B).
