A&K Insider Access - Casa Aliaga
Experience the splendour of one of Lima's most impressive and oldest homes over cocktails. Dating to the 16th century, Casa Aliaga is superbly restored and has been in the Aliaga family for over 400 years, making it the oldest house in the Southern Hemisphere inhabited continuously by the same family. From the intricately carved timber front door to the stone entrance hall and up the grand staircase, each part of the house is unique and has been designed with grand proportions. In typical Spanish style there is an interior courtyard and decorative elements throughout the house include vast iron lamps, valuable antiques and artworks.
Children of the Rainbow
Situated in Peru's Sacred Valley of the Incas, the corridor connecting the city of Cusco with world famous Machu Picchu, the Children of the Rainbow project brings hope and healing to an area where alcoholism and a lack of education has created suffering through child abuse, domestic violence, poverty, malnutrition and a decimating ecosystem. By providing love, shelter, education and health resources, an opportunity is created for local people to improve their future and preserve a beautiful part of the world. A&K guests can bring books, school supplies and sports equipment for the children and 'wish list' items needed by the project. It also provides opportunity for interaction with children in the home.
Pricing
At A&K all of our journeys are individually tailored to suit your needs and timescale. As a guide, this 17 day suggested journey in Peru & Ecuador will cost from $15,120 per person based on two adults sharing and is subject to availability.

If the price goes down after you book, we will refund the difference - guaranteed
