Day 1 - Manaus - Anavilhanas
Arrive Manaus Airport and transfer to the lodge, located on the Rio Negro. Evening wildlife activity. Stay in a unique private stilt-suspended bungalow located in elevated terrain in the woods with glass walls and a spacious balcony (D).

Days 2-3 - Anavilhanas
The next two days are spent with wildlife expeditions by boat, canoe and on foot. See macaws, pink dolphins and alligators. Visit local communities and learn about native bow and arrow making and handicrafts. Try your hand at piranha fishing. Your base, Anavilhanas Lodge, is an artfully designed property comprising a series of suspended wooden structures built with natural materials perfectly in keeping with local tradition. There are just 16 air conditioned suites and four deluxe bungalows here all with private verandah and en suite bathrooms. Wildlife guides are locals from the area (B,L,D).

Day 4 - Depart Manaus
Return transfer to Manaus for onward flight (B).
