When to go?
Like the region itself, weather patterns throughout Latin America vary dramatically. Peru and Ecuador are year-round destinations with rains Dec-Mar. The Galapagos Islands are predominantly warm and dry. In the south, Argentina and Chile also are year-round destinations with warm-hot summers (Jan-Mar) especially in the north and cold winters, particularly at higher altitudes. Brazil is best visited Mar-Nov. In summer Rio is hot and humid. Mexico and Cuba are at their best between November and April.

Unless specified otherwise in this section, itineraries throughout Latin America are private journeys for you and your chosen travelling companions (you are not part of a group). The service begins with an A&K airport welcome, assistance with luggage and transportation by private air-conditioned chauffeur drive, complete with bottled water and fresh towels. Your own uniformed A&K English speaking guide conducts the sightseeing and is your key contact on the ground. Breakfasts are included and certain other meals as indicated.
