Here at A&K we know that now more than ever you need to feel confident when deciding to book a holiday with us. We understand that you need reassurance that any travel plans you make will be flexible, secure and fully supported. That’s why we have our ‘Book with Confidence’ policy, designed to give you peace of mind. The enhanced policy allows you to make changes to your holiday up to 15 days before you travel both within Australia and overseas, should the unexpected occur. Book with A&K before 31 December 2021 and you are guaranteed:


You can change your travel plans or postpone up to 15 days before your travel date for Covid-related reasons, and rebook to travel any time before 31 December 2022.

No amendment fees

Should you choose to change your journey for Covid-related reasons to a new destination or move your travel dates no fees will be incurred.

Extended credit window

Should you cancel for Covid-related reasons and choose not to rebook an alternative journey, you will receive a credit toward future travel valid through to 31 December 2022.

Terms and Conditions

For new bookings for travel through to 31 December 2022 made through Abercrombie & Kent Australia between 22 February and 31 December 2021, guests may change or cancel the booking up to 15 days prior to departure in the event of a COVID-19-related reason at home or in their travel destination. For Tailor-Made bookings, some exclusions and penalties may apply, which will be advised in writing prior to confirmation. Excludes Wings Over the World, Private Jet, Inspiring Expeditions and A&K Villas. Different final payment periods may apply to domestic tailormade travel and to Expedition Cruise and Small Group Journey bookings. Guests who cancel without rebooking will receive a credit toward future travel valid through 31 December 2022; credit is non-transferable and non-refundable. Applicable price of new journey applies. Guest is responsible for non-refundable air fees, insurance and other related costs. All other standard terms and conditions apply to the booking. Special terms are subject to change and can be withdrawn at any time.

COVID-19-related reasons include:

The State or Federal Government in the guest’s place of residence issues a Do Not Travel Health Advisory, and a restriction of all but essential travel in the guest’s place of residence.

The State or Federal Government in the guest’s place of residence issues a Do Not Travel Health Advisory due to COVID-19 for the destination to which the guest is travelling.

The destination the guest is travelling to has entry restrictions in place that prohibit the guest from travelling, such as closed borders or extended quarantine requirements.

If, after your booking has been confirmed, a requirement is put into effect from the federal or state government of your country of residence for you to quarantine in a managed quarantine hotel (at your own expense) upon your return to your country or state of residence.

International flights are cancelled without alternative routing available for guests to use to reach the destination(s) in the itinerary.
