Helena Bay Lodge

Secluded Helena Bay's 800 acres includes three kilometres of pristine coastline and four private beaches for you to make full use of, relaxing in your own idyllic oasis.

Located in the far north east of New Zealand's North Island, secluded Helena Bay's 800 acres includes three kilometres of pristine coastline and four private beaches for you to make full use of, relaxing in your own idyllic oasis. Here, amidst the sound of crashing waves and stunning views over the Pacific, guests will find a home away from home.

Modern yet timeless, the lodge, designed with respect to New Zealand's early European buildings, sits gently on rolling lawns overlooking the bay. The three junior suites and two villa suites are designed to host no more than five couples (or a private group). Each of the villas is appointed with divinely comfortable beds, handmade linens, walk-in wardrobes and spacious balconies where guests can view Helena Bay, the South Pacific Ocean and its native wildlife, including dolphins and whales.

Foodies can savour world-class cuisine at the Italian Restaurant onsite, revelling in fine dining that heroes local produce sourced from the estate and surrounds, complemented by a renowned 1000 bottle wine cellar.

The property offers a wide range of activities including kayaking, fishing, farm tours, bicycles and clay shooting. Our 800 acres combine a mix of forestry and open paddocks and with miles of tracks there is plenty to explore.
