Motu Art Villas, Rarotonga

An idyllic escape, Motu is the Pacific’s first art resort and a family-owned trust whose proceeds support Pacific artists, education and healthcare in the Cook Islands.

Welcome to Motu, an island within an island. An idyllic escape, Motu is the Pacific’s first art resort and a family-owned trust whose proceeds support Pacific artists, education and healthcare in the Cook Islands.

Offering 10 self-contained beachfront villas, each is secluded within tropical gardens overlooking the peaceful lagoon. Featuring designer interiors and a collection of artworks from across the Pacific, each air-conditioned villa includes a spacious bedroom, living area, kitchenette, bathroom and shaded balcony.

Look forward to discovering the sea life of the lagoon, strolling the deserted white sand beach, exploring the island by electric bicycle, watching the blazing sunsets of high summer, or enjoying a local beer before reclining by the fresh-water pool.

The resort give the environment and iti tangata (their people) the same care as guests, using environmentally friendly products and electric vehicles to minimise impact.
