The luxurious all-suite Sanctuary Ananda carries guests in style on voyages of breathtaking beauty and discovery on the mysterious rivers of Myanmar. Cruises travel along the majestic Ayeyarwady River between Bhamo and Yangon visiting temples, pagodas, palaces and monasteries along the way, while journeys on its great tributary, the Chindwin, reveal places rarely seen before. Sanctuary Ananda offers 3, 4 and 7 night ‘Discovery Cruises’ as well as 10 and 11 night ‘Exploration Cruises’ which allow guests more time to explore the Ayeyarwady and Chindwin Rivers.

The Cabins
The Cabins Sanctuary Ananda offers 2 suites, 14 deluxe suites, 4 luxury suites and the Aloungpayah suite. All are air-conditioned with either double or twin beds and en suite bathroom with monsoon shower and a large private balcony. The four luxury suites have an additional indoor seating area and can accommodate a third guest. The ultra-luxurious Aloungpayah Suite has a king sized bed, dressing area, a free standing bathtub, and monsoon shower as well as private living and dining areas and superb panoramic views of the river. Daily Activities
Daily Activities Days start with complimentary early morning meditation and sunrise yoga on the sundeck. While cruising during the day guests can relax on a sun lounge or take a dip in the outdoor plunge pool. In the afternoons and evenings, there are lectures and demonstrations of local customs where guests can learn about the culture, history and attractions of Myanmar. All Sanctuary Ananda’s guides are local Burmese experts, enhancing the experience still further, and where possible, guests experience the fun of local transport, such as horse-drawn carts, trishaws and small boats.
