Vivanta Sawai Madhopur Lodge, the former royal family lodge of Maharaja of Jaipur, is the only heritage hotel in Ranthambore and one of the best places to stay. Spread over 12 acres of lush green lawns, this lodge has a British style architecture and is located a short 20 minute drive to the park entrance.

Built in the 1930's the art-deco styled lodge still houses the original dining hall, bar and lounge from that era. The veranda added later also remains with the all its grand style. The tents which once slept the Maharaja of Jaipur, have made way for luxurious well appointed rooms and suites. The spirit of the original lodge remains, however, it is a new spirited style that makes its presence felt.

Enjoy a wide range of cuisines, encompassing a variety of delicious dishes, from a casual meal at the open-air Veranda, to Indian and Continental dishes at The Dining Room.  Between safaris into the park in search of the Bengal Tiger, relax by the outdoor pool, work out in the modern gym or be pampered at the spa.
