After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your charter flight to the Serengeti. Meet your A&K safari guide on arrival and transfer to your luxury safari lodge for the next three nights. After lunch, set out on your first game drive to the Serengeti’s wildlife-filled savannah. Return as the sun fades for dinner at your lodge.

Spend the next two days exploring Serengeti National Park on morning and afternoon game drives, ever on the lookout for Africa’s Big Five animals—the lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and Cape buffalo. Your visit is well timed with wildebeest calving season, when more than 8,000 of calves are born. Enjoy an optional hot air balloon safari (at an additional cost), gliding over the Serengeti for a unique perspective, followed by a champagne toast and breakfast on the savannah. This evening, sit down to a specially prepared private dinner in the bush.

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive en route to the Seronera airstrip for your chartered flight to Zanzibar, where you begin your main Luxury Expedition Cruise program.
