Journey Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Broome.

Arrive into tropical Broome to a warm Kimberley welcome and check in to your resort set in lush tropical gardens just steps away from magnificent Cable Beach, a 22km stretch of pristine white sand and turquoise sea. Enjoy a sunset camel ride along the beach – and later this evening, perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to witness an incredible natural phenomenon: the ‘Staircase to the Moon’ (visible on just a few days each month during full moon).

Day 2: Broome.

Today enjoy a half day scheduled tour of The Willie Creek Pearl Farm. Learn how technicians seed a live oyster to produce a pearl and cruise the creek’s azure waters to view the oyster panels suspended in their natural environment.

Day 3: Broome.

Today is at leisure. Why not take a flight over the extraordinary Bungle Bungle Ranges or Horizontal Waterfalls.

Day 4: Broome – Cape Leveque.

Collect your 4WD vehicle today for a short road trip north along the stunning coastline. Marvel at the dramatic landscapes of red dirt, sparse vegetation and clear blue skies en route to Cape Leveque, a remote and isolated paradise. Your home for the next three nights is a unique, luxury wilderness camp on the tip of the Dampier Peninsula. Jointly owned by the Djarindjin and Ardyaloon (One Arm Point) Aboriginal communities, this property offers simple but comfortable accommodation in an unparalleled setting.

Day 5: Cape Leveque.

A morning guided walk around Kooljaman with an indigenous guide and a demonstration of traditional fishing methods. The white sand beach adjacent to the camp is perfect for swimming. The afternoon is at your leisure. Gather your snorkelling equipment and explore the crystal clear aquamarine waters teeming with multicoloured tropical fish.

Day 6: Cape Leveque.

A full day at leisure. You may choose to take part in the diverse range of nature-based activities – fishing, beach walks, or a reef walk at low tide. Look out for whales from mid-July to October and learn about local flora and fauna as you follow the interpretive boardwalk through the coastal vine thicket.

Day 7: Broome.

Your journey ends as you head back to Broome today and return your 4WD.
