Small and compact, the charming Central American country of Guatemala is a stunning
blend of ancient Maya traditions, colonial influences and modern practices. Its topography
and ecosystems are diverse, with volcanoes, virgin rainforest and highland lakes home to an incredible array of birds and wildlife and it boasts some of the world’s most important ancient Maya ruins, colourful markets and a vibrant art and craft tradition. Throughout the journey sample free trade coffee, typical street food as well as the flavoursome traditional cuisine and come home amazed by all it has to offer.
