Michael Ye (Ye Nan), Michael Ye was born and raised in a traditional hutong right outside Beijing’s Forbidden City. Since childhood, he has been influenced by traditional Chinese culture and unique Beijing customs; and it is Beijing and China’s rich history that he loves to share with visitors to his country. Michael joined A&K China in 2006 as a tour director where his extensive knowledge, practicality and cheerful personality has made him one of our favourite tour directors. He was awarded best guide of the year in 2008 proving his professionalism and capabilities. When not on tour, he keeps himself abreast of the latest Chinese and international news and considers himself an ambassador of China to his guests.
