Join well-known cook, TV personality and restaurateur Geoff Jansz on A&K’s culinary, and cultural, journey to Sri Lanka. A culinary experience in Thailand introduces the key flavours of one of our favourite cuisines focusing on the flavours and technical elements of Thai cuisine with a range of exciting culinary experiences including an introduction to Bangkok’s famous street food at authentic locations like Silom Soi 20, Nanglerng and Banglumpoo. There’s also time exploring atmospheric produce markets as well as participating in cooking classes and dining in one of the country’s most famous restaurants, David Thompson’s Michelin starred Nahm.
Accommodation in Bangkok is at Metropolitan by COMO, and at Nonthaburi outside Bangkok guests bed down at The Thai House, a traditional teakwood home stay and cooking school worlds away from the bustling city. Hands-on cooking classes, river trips, market and village visits are all included.
