Luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Australian Gourmet Traveller (AGT), Australia’s premier food and travel magazine. The partnership delivers a hand-picked collection of small group journeys to a range of exotic destinations. Locally escorted in each destination, the Gourmet Traveller Journeys by A&K focus on destinations with both culinary and cultural appeal.

A&K’s Regional Managing Director, Sujata Raman, says, “This series has been designed exclusively for Gourmet Traveller and aims to give guests an authentic experience in the destination. There are special opportunities to meet locals, privileged behind the scenes events and personalised attention throughout”.

Gourmet Traveller journeys by A&K are now available to India and Morocco departing in 2016.

In India, unique tour highlights include a street food tour of Old Delhi, dinner at acclaimed restaurant, The Spice Route, an in-home cooking demonstration and lunch, morning and afternoon visits to the Taj Mahal plus a stroll around the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. The Morocco journey explores the blue city of Chefchaouen in the foothills of the Rif Mountains, an authentic Moroccan dinner in the courtyard of Dar Anebar in medieval Fes, time with a local resident who shares her insights on Moroccan culture as well as an exclusive experience with a leading Australian jewellery designer and Fes resident. There’s a hands-on cooking class with dinner in the magnificent Riad Myra, private entrée and wine tastings at the exquisite Royal Mansour wine cellars in Marrakech with the Head Sommelier, an extraordinary desert experience at A&K’s exclusive Bedouin camp, an exclusive visit to the photography museum in the heart of the Marrakech medina plus time with a local chef in a small village garden outside Marrakech for a unique Moroccan culinary experience and tagine lunch.
