Jamtara Wilderness Camp

Each tent of the 10 tents has been designed with luxurious features and feels light and open, with views across the surrounding wilderness.

Permanent bathrooms mean the holy grail – running water – and extra comforts. If you’re feeling particularly at one with nature there is the option to sleep out on your patio, with mosquito netting, quilts and hot water bottles to keep out the mozzies and the cold. For the ultimate jungle experience, spend the night in a star bed.

Much of the activity is centred around the wilderness, and walks through the local village community are a highlight. The pool is an ideal way for cooling off after a busy day exploring.

Why we like it
