After energetic days on the course, your nights are spent in elegant style at three of the country’s most outstanding lodges – The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, the Farm at Cape Kidnappers and Queenstown’s Azur Lodge. Test your skill on clifftop fairways, high-rise tees, deep bunkers and lightning-fast greens and immerse yourself in the country’s finest fresh produce and epicurean delights.

Journey Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bay of Islands, North Island

On arrival into the Bay of Islands airport (Kerikeri), collect your rental vehicle and make your way to your luxurious home away from home, The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs in the spectacular Northland region. This spectacular area is your playground for the next two days.

Day 2: Bay of Islands

Today enjoy playing 18 holes on the par 72 championship golf course that offers five sets of tees to challenge every skill level. Fifteen holes view the Pacific Ocean, six of which are played alongside cliffs which plunge to the sea. The beautiful inland holes wind through marsh, forest and farmland.

Day 3: Cape Kidnappers

Savour a delicious breakfast before continuing your journey. Drive back to the Bay of Islands airport (Kerikeri), return your hire car and fly south to Napier*. Collect another hire car and drive to your rustic-luxe accommodation, The Farm at Cape Kidnappers.

Day 4: Cape Kidnappers

More golf on the agenda today with a round of 18 on the par 71 golf course. With cliff-edge fairways perched 140 metres above sea level, and a surface that is firm and fast, this spectacular golf course, designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, has been hailed as one of golf’s great modern marvels. Built on a ridge-and-valley landscape and with stunning sea views, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course has some of the world’s most unique holes, some play cautiously alongside deep ravines as others intimidate golfers with deep cliff top bunkers and sheer drops off the very edge of the earth.

In addition to boasting one of the world’s top golf courses, this unique property is also a sanctuary for some of New Zealand’s most precious flora and fauna, and a working farm.

Day 5: Queenstown

Today return to Napier airport and return your hire car before flying on to Queenstown*. Collect your rental vehicle and make your way to your contemporary luxury accommodation, Azur Lodge, where floor to ceiling windows reveal breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountain ranges.

Day 6: Queenstown

Today’s golfing destination is Jack’s Point situated on the edge of Lake Wakatipu and in the shadow of the Remarkables mountain range. The 18-hole par 72 championship course, with five tee positions, weaves through native tussock grasslands to the lake’s edge and is ranked number one in the South Island. Its demanding layout is ruggedly natural and demands a degree of accuracy but will reward all players with its incredible scenery and the unforgettable experience.

Day 7: Queenstown

Another round today, this time at Millbrook Resort which is set in a natural alpine amphitheatre against the backdrop of the Remarkables. Originally designed by Sir Bob Charles, the original 18-hole course is in immaculate condition with lush fairways and large greens. With the inclusion of The Coronet Nine, Millbrook offers three options for 18-hole rounds and has firmly established itself as one of the finest golf resorts in New Zealand.

Day 8: Queenstown

An unforgettable experience in store this morning as you play New Zealand’s most picturesque golf hole, accessible only by chopper. Make your way to the helipad and lift off for your high altitude shared heli-golf experience. Nestled at an elevation of 1370 metres on top of Cecil Peak in the Southern Alps, this extraordinary par 3 golf experience overlooking Queenstown has four tee boxes for you to attempt a hole in one! Return to the hotel and the afternoon is at your leisure.

After a final breakfast, drive to Queenstown Airport for your departure flight*.
