When to Go

A&K recommends travelling to Namibia, Africa, during the dry season from April to October. You’ll experience warm, sunny days where it’s easy to spot animals as they congregate around watering holes. Despite being the peak travel time, most wildlife parks will not feel crowded.

Travelling during the wet season between December and March is possible. Expect humid days and afternoon thunderstorms. Animals may be harder to spot as they scatter across the plains, but this is when you are most likely to see newborns stepping out into the world for the first time.
