A journey in autumn (September to November)is also worthwhile, you will be greeted by beautiful vistas of colour-changing foliage, cool weather and a variety of seasonal events including local outdoor markets and the Staro Riga Light Festival, with the capital city’s buildings, squares, bridges and monuments brought to life by talented visual artists.
