Blend comfort and adventure in Costa Rica

From Tortuguero’s Caribbean charms to the remote Osa Peninsula and its incredible diversity, Costa Rica is a wild world that prides itself on sustainability and eco-friendly tourism. Our luxury holidays will have you experiencing the best of the country without sacrificing the environment or your personal comfort, and are perfect for adventure seekers and nature lovers.

Be immersed in Costa Rica’s culture in cosmopolitan San Jose, sipping coffee on the sidewalk and learning about the country’s fascinating history at the pre-Columbian Gold Museum. Perhaps you’ll tackle rapids on a whitewater rafting trip, or visit a Toucan Rescue Ranch to spend time with orphaned sloths and birdlife.

In Tortuguero, you’ll search the rivers for wildlife with an expert guide. Howler monkeys, otters and caimans all call these waters home, while turtles nest on the local beaches for much of the year.

Join a naturalist to explore the Arenal Volcano, set among 500,000 acres of protected land. Walk past a dizzying array of native flora and fauna before soaking in natural hot springs to soothe your muscles.

Described as the most biologically intense place on earth by National Geographic, the Osa Peninsula is a tiny stretch of land that’s arguably the crown jewel of a country rich in treasures. Approximately 2.5% of the planet’s biodiversity is squeezed into this strip of unspoiled rainforest and pristine beaches.

  • Trek through the Osa Peninsula’s lush rainforest, swimming in hidden waterfalls and spotting colourful birds in its upper reaches.
  • Stay in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano, one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world.

Authentic accommodation to please both the environment and our travellers.

Costa Rica is a champion of sustainability and we aim to stay at luxurious lodgings reflecting this attitude.

Lapa Rios Eco Lodge is one of National Geographic’s Unique Lodges of the World. It’s set in 1000 acres of nature reserve, the views of the Pacific are unforgettable and it works to support the region’s biodiversity and the local community.

Hotel Grano de Oro, a heritage hotel in San Jose, was voted the best hotel in Central America by Condé Nast and its restaurant is one of the city’s finest.

Nayara Resort offers views of Arenal Volcano, a swim-up pool bar and private gardens with outdoor showers. Almost all of the resort’s produce is organic and locally sourced.
