The climate in Tanzania is typically warm all year round but do expect cool nights, especially in the Central Plateau. Coastal areas can be very hot and humid but benefit from a cool sea breeze between June and September. The area around Mount Kilimanjaro is generally cooler. The hottest time to visit is between October and February, and the rainy season falls mid-March to late May.
