When to Go

Guatemala’s pleasant climate makes it a year-round destination. The dry season runs from November to April, but even during the wet season travellers can expect no more than a few hours of rain a day. Travel in the highlands offers warm days and cool nights, while the lowlands of Tikal and surrounds boast hot temperatures all year.
