Sanctuary Olonana is an award-winning tented camp on a private stretch of the Mara River, at the foot of the impressive Siria Escarpment close to where the famous last scene from "Out of Africa" was filmed. Located close to the border with Tanzania, the game concentration here is high. There are 14 comfortable and spacious canvas tents, all with parquet floors, four-poster beds and private verandas overlooking the river.
In addition to game viewing in the reserve, visitors are also offered an insight into the day-to-day lives of the Maasai people in the adjacent village, participation in the AKP tree planting project, nature walks and hot air balloon safaris.
