Journey Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Cape Town.

A warm A&K welcome on arrival in the Cape and assistance to your elegant hotel located at the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 2: Cape Town.

This morning head off for an ascent by aerial cableway up Cape Town’s iconic Table Mountain (weather permitting). This afternoon is at leisure to relax at the hotel, explore the waterfront or venture further afield.

Day 3: Cape Town.

Journey beyond the city for a day to explore the famous Cape Winelands where picturesque vineyards are set against imposing granite peaks and eye-catching Cape Dutch homesteads nestle under avenues of oaks. Stellenbosch is the centre of the local wine making industry and is surrounded by hundreds of vineyards. You’ll have the chance to visit some privately owned wineries, which date back hundreds of years, and enjoy a variety of tastings.

Day 4: Cape Town.

Venture south along the Atlantic coast road past the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, located at the base of the towering Twelve Apostles. Descend into Hout Bay valley, with its bustling fishing harbour and white sand beach and on to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at the end of the Cape Peninsula. Look out for whales and sea birds from the viewing point. On your return visit Boulders, a lovely beach famous for its colony of endangered Jackass Penguins, before lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Cape Town – Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

Transfer to airport for the flight to Sabi Sand with a transfer to your boutique safari accommodation at Dulini River Lodge. Situated in in a leafy, evergreen thicket shaded by a grove of ebony tress on the banks of the seasonal Sand River, tranquil Dulini River Lodge, features just 6 spacious thatched suites with private plunge pools, dining boma, viewing deck and a comfortable down-to-earth atmosphere.

Days 6-7: Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is renowned for its exceptional opportunities of seeing Africa’s iconic species (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant) as well as cheetah, wild dog, hippo, crocodile an abundance of general game and over 400 bird species. Spend two days enjoying exceptional game viewing with experiences tailored to your individual interests and expectations. Day 8: Sabi Sand Game Reserve – Depart Johannesburg.

A final game-drive before the safari finishes and a flight to Johannesburg.
