Day 1: Arrive Bali

Arrive into the tropical haven of Bali and a warm A&K welcome with fast-track assistance through customs. Transfer privately to your luxury lodge with the afternoon at leisure.

Day 2: Bali

Today you will explore the natural wonders of Bali’s highlands on a full day of exploration.

First stop, the Royal Temple of Mengwi built in 1634 to serve as the family temple of the Mengwi dynasty. Admire this stunning piece of historic architecture before continuing to the rolling rice terraces of Jatiluwih, a cultural icon best explored by e-bike. Embark on a guided bike tour of the lush landscapes, watching local farm life unfold before stopping at Besi Kalung temple, a historical icon standing tall amid the rice fields, enjoying a tasty lunch in this enthralling place.

Continue your cycle tour to Lake Bratan, admiring the views of the peaceful waters and Ulun Danu, an iconic 17th-century temple standing on the lake’s edge. Finish your day with a stop at the local Bedugul market, home to a kaleidoscope of locally grown fruits, vegetables and flowers.

Day 3: Bali - Ubud

Continue your Bali discovery with a short transfer to the village of Mas, known for its time-honoured wood carving tradition passed down from generation to generation.

Here, you will meet the village priest and learn about the village’s sacred ancient traditions, and receive a holy blessing from this village icon within the revered walls of the house temple.

Afterwards, enjoy an authentic Balinese massage in a private tent, beside the natural idyll of the calming Ayung River.

Tuck into a 3-course chef-prepared picnic lunch, surrounded by the riverine scenes, before transferring to your lodge in Ubud with an evening at your leisure.

Day 4: Ubud

This morning, explore and discover the many charms of Ubud on foot. Start with a visit of Ubud’s Sacred Monkey Forest, discovering three ancient Hindu temples, beautiful jungle-covered statues and, the families of indigenous macaques. Join a community group and learn how to make the unique Balinese offerings called Canang Sari, an integral part of Balinese life and their gratitude to the Gods. Refresh with a chilled coconut before browsing Ubud’s artist market, the colourful stalls filled with handicrafts and textiles. Continue to the home of well-known Ubud painter and architect I Gusti Nyoman Lempad, a founding member of the the Pita Maha, a group of inspiring Balinese artists. He has built many of the palaces and temples in Ubud and it neighbouring villages. His grandson I Gusti Gede Udayana is often at the house and will be happy to share the story of his grandfather.

After lunch, embark on a hike up one of Ubud’s most scenic walking paths, wandering amid the verdant fields with panoramic views of the surrounding lush valleys.

This evening, enjoy a cocktail and tapas while you admire the sunset over Sayan Valley, before an 8-course degustation dinner that showcases flavourful local fare.

Day 5: Ubud - Benoa - Moyo Island

This morning head south to Benoa port where you board Aqua Blu, your home for the next seven nights. Enjoy a warm welcome and cruise to Moyo Island as the sun sets.

Day 6: Moyo Island

Arrive at the remote island of Moyo, where unspoiled terrestrial and marine habitats remain virtually untouched by outside influences. Explore verdant jungle and cascading waterfalls on the lookout for wild oxen, deer, boar and a variety of bird species. Snorkel at the shallow Angel Reef admiring the tropical fish and colourful corals.

Day 7: Saleh Bay, Sumbawa

Next stop Saleh Bay where an up-close ranger-led encounter with friendly whale sharks is sure to be a highlight. This evening, witness the dramatic flight of fruit bats as Sattonda as they head out over the mangroves on their nocturnal hunt.

Day 8: Gili Banta - West Komodo

Enjoy a spectacular sunrise and breakfast with Sangeang volcano as the backdrop and arrive at Gili Banta, a remote haven for beach lovers and snorkelers and divers (dive sites such as Star Wars and K2 are among the world's best) alike. Or hike the Eastern Ridge for stunning views.

Day 9: Linta Strait - Padar

In the morning discover Linta Strait, a world-famous spot for drift snorkelling and diving. Large pelagic fish are very common as well as manta rays, giant trevally and big schools of barracuda. In the afternoon, arrive at picturesque Padar Island. Hike up the hill for iconic views before a sunset cocktail on the beach.

Day 10: Horeshoe Bay - Pink Beach

After a morning sailing through a spectacular sea passage, arrive in Horseshoe Bay, a dramatic curvature of land that is the remains of an ancient volcano caldera. Visit the favourite haunts of sea eagles and Komodo dragon aboard Aqua Blu's skiffs or choose to dive or swim. In the late afternoon the iconic Pink Beach awaits. Trek, witness the flight of bats or visit the local village. Or simply relax on the beach, cocktail in hand.

Day 11: Rinca - Gili Lawa Laut

Discover Komodo National Park's largest Komodo dragon population on land at Rinca before sailing to Gili Lawa Laut, an islet that features expansive beaches and shallow reefs for kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. Meanwhile, explore diving and snorkelling spots and keep your eyes peeled for turtles.

Day 12: Depart Labuan Bajo

Depart Gili Lawa Daut anchorage for Labuan Bajo and disembark for your outbound flight.
