Day 1: Arrive Blue Mountains

Today self-drive to the Blue Mountains and your luxury accommodation for the night: Spicers Sangoma Retreat, featuring an infinity pool — with panoramic views of the valley — onsite day spa, and a host of walking trails. Settle in for a delicious dinner paired with fine wines.

Day 2: Blue Mountains

Spend the morning on a privately guided 4WD tour of the Blue Mountains. Begin at Leura Cascades for an interpretive nature walk into open woodland forest, before continuing on to Katoomba Falls Lookout with magnificent views across the Three Sisters and Mount Solitary. Follow Cliff Drive to the Northern side of the Blue Mountains for the only accessible 360-degree view of the entire range from Anvil Rock. Pause for a simple picnic lunch before traversing down through sub-temperate rainforest into the only inhabited valley in the Blue Mountains, the Megalong Valley. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for kangaroo and wombat. The rest of your day is at leisure with dinner at the retreat.

Day 3: Blue Mountains – Hunter Valley

Prepare for a stunning self-drive through the Blue Mountains to the Hunter Valley, where you’ll stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate. Nestled in among rolling vineyards and native bushland, the private eight-acre vineyard makes a great base to explore this renowned wine region. With the rest of your day at leisure, consider a boutique winery tour, a gourmet cheese and wine experience, or tranquil day spa treatments to rejuvenate your body, mind and soul. This evening, dine farm-to-table as you gaze across the private vineyard to the Brokenback Mountain Range.

Day 4: Hunter Valley

Head to the Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard for a day of winery indulgence. Begin with a self-guided tour of the onsite museum, followed by a master class and premium tasting from your in-house wine expert. Collect your bottle of handpicked wine along with a picnic hamper and select a scenic location within the 270-acre property to enjoy the picturesque view and immerse yourself among the vines in near solitude. Your picnic hamper includes your own etched glassware to take home. You evening is at leisure.
